  • What is O2 Undiscovered?

    O2 Undiscovered is all about access to the music industry. Here's how we help you get your foot in the door: the O2 Undiscovered Workshops - the chance to learn first hand from the best in the music industry; the O2 Undiscovered Busking Stage - the chance to be heard performing by the judging panel; and O2 Undiscovered - the chance to apply for some brilliant roles in the music business.

  • How old do I have to be to enter O2 Undiscovered?

    You must be 18 or over and live in the UK.

  • I missed the workshops, can I still find out more about the music industry with Undiscovered?

    Go online. We've posted videos of industry experts sharing their expertise at our O2 Undiscovered workshops on our website so you don't miss out.

  • Where will I play in The O2?

    On the O2 Undiscovered Busking Stage outside The O2 Arena.

  • How does the competition work?

    First register for O2 Undiscovered, then upload your original track and an image.

    All valid entries are reviewed and those shortlisted may be asked to send in more information about themselves or their band. Bands are then selected as favourites by a judging panel.

  • Can I use sampling or submit cover versions?

    No. All material must be original.

  • What happens if I or my band is shortlisted?

    One of our judges may ask to see the shortlisted acts play live before picking the favourites. Favourites are selected by an independent panel of music industry representatives and chosen on the following criteria:

    The judges will discuss the merits of each entrant in relation to the stated aim of O2 Undiscovered - to develop the musically gifted.

  • What happens if I or my band is picked as a favourite?

    Acts selected as favourites by the judging panel will be told in writing of the date and slot selected for their performance. You will then have seven days to confirm if you can play your slot.

    You also need to give us details of all the equipment you need to transport. This must be submitted no later than seven days before your performance.

  • What size can my file be?

    Your track must not exceed 5 mb file size and must be an MP3.

  • How long does it take for my track to go live?

    It should go live within 24 hours of uploading your track.

  • How many people can fit on the busking stage?

    Up to five

  • I can't upload my track, is there another way to enter?

    Send an email to o2undiscovered@aislondon.com attaching your track and image. Make sure you include your full name, address, band name and the genre of your music.

  • Can I upload an image with my music?

    You can upload one image when you submit your track.

  • If I come and play on the busking stage will transport be organised?

    An O2 tour bus will transport you / your band from home to and from the O2 on the day of your performance.

  • Can I change the answers once I've submitted them?

    Sorry, once you’ve submitted your answers, you can’t change them.
